The variety of power creation begins with the 181hp level from the Duramax® 2.8-liter Turbo-Diesel engine and finishes with the optional 3.6L V6 that creates 308 horsepower. The base 2.5L engine is right in between the pair of available engines with a 200 horsepower production.
The Colorado curb weight is between 3,859-4,533 pounds. There are various paths to build a Chevrolet Colorado truck, starting with the WT, LT, ZR1, or ZR2 model. The WT models produce the lightest curb weights beginning with 3,859 lbs, and the LT trims are just behind, coming in at around 3,868 lbs. The ZR2 trims are the heaviest, with a range of 4,430-4,533 lbs.
